Phase 1: Project Commencement
Setting in motion the planning for the entire project, Phase 1 involves detailing any special
requirements for bespoke software, hardware and data transfers.
Phase 2: Familiarisation/Walkthrough
The walkthroughs provide a detailed modular analysis of the ViXEN solution to allow the system
to be tailored to the client's business structure.
Phase 3: Configuration & Follow-up
Implementation and review of the requirements highlighted in Phase 2, to ensure that the
client's business model is reflected in the ViXEN solution.
Phase 4: Testing
Testing is crucial to the outcome of the project, ensuring that the configured ViXEN system
operates successfully. The client is requested to choose test data reflecting as broad a range of business
activities as possible.
Phase 5: Evaluation
Testing results are reviewed and any changes required are implemented, tested and re-evaluated.
Phase 6: Training
Personnel, including clerical, engineering and managerial staff, are trained on the ViXEN system.
Phase 7: Reporting preparation
Essential management reports required by the client are identified to determine whether the can
be extracted directly from the ViXEN system or need to be tailored externally.
Phase 8: Go Live
This critical stage involves considerable planning, most notably in relation to the cut-over
strategy, which may require balance loading of data and reconciling accounts to legacy systems.
Phase 9: Post-implementation
The system continues to be reviewed and additional training and consultancy is offered,
as necessary. Continues software support is available beyond implementation.
